I am visiting Providence for a video shoot at the hospital and need help with a location. I heard the Riverwalk area is pretty, and I would like to film a person walking along the area. What would be a good place to start (a street intersection would be supremely helpful). I also need a nice, quick place to get lunch at the Riverwalk too.
The shoot is this Friday and I will be there on Thursday to scope out locations, but anything I know ahead of time will be super.
Thank you so much in advance. I am excited about visiting Providence - seems like a nice city.
I'd start at the corner of Steeple St and Memorial Blvd, right in front of the Citizens Bank Building. There's an entrance to the riverwalk right there. As far as lunch goes, you may have to venture over to S Main Street, downtown or into the mall. If you head downtown, my favorite place is Blake's on Washington St.
Hmm, there's also a lot of construction there at the moment though. Not sure if the Riverwalk will be the best of choices really. How about going south just a little? Check out South Main Street and South Water Street. There's a small park there too, around the South Main/ College Street intersection.
Enjoy your visit.
