What type of nightlife does Petersburg have outside of Virginia State University? I am a white man who wants to go go V.S.U., and I'm wanting to know the types of nightlife Petersburg has since I have only been to Petersburg twice. I've only seen Civil War Attractions and small Restaurants in Old Towne, and I don't know nothing about the nightlife? Are there any clubs that are friendly, that i can know about?

Haven't been there in a while but you could try the NCO club at Fort Lee. If you're not military you'd have to provide proof of license/insurance. Don't know how old u are but I think its 21 and up. Students also hang out at Buffalo Wild Wings in the South Park Mall area.

You are joking right?? I am sorry to be the barrier of bad news but there is no night life in Petersburg other than the NCO club (which leaves A LOT to be desired). You will have to come to Richmond for some sort of night life. I attended undergrad in Richmond and all of the students from VSU come to Richmond to party. It's not a bad drive up, just a b** to drive back home if you enjoyed a few beverages

I think once you get to know people you might find that there is more night life than advertised. Having lived in small places I realized that I just had to become a part of the community before stuff was available to me.
