That’s cool I haven’t been to a Red Wings game in ages, I should go again before the end of summer baseball is always a good time. And I love how the Hagerstown suns are #1 that’s perhaps even more surprising. BTW are you in PETA?

Doesn't the Red Osier operate there?

I do not support PETA, just thought the list was interesting. I'm also pretty sure Red Osier is there too.

That's pretty interesting...especially since outside of Brighton and the Park Avenue/University area of the city, I tend to think of the Rochester area as fairly omnivorous...I know I am!

That’s cute, if you were more educated about what you eat I’m sure you wouldn’t have such a flippant response.

Eating meat is fine, it’s part of the food chain, but you have to keep in mind that most of the meat we eat is processed in factory farms where the animals are slaughtered in some of the most horrific ways possible, and not usually in the most sanitary ways either. If you only buy Amish meats or go to the neighborhood butcher, who only sells local meat, then that’s one thing but most people don’t do that. I actually think PETA brings up an extremely valid point and I’m glad someone’s out there pushing that perspective.

I was raised on a farm sunshine, wildly unlikely you know anything I don't know about my food.

When you listen to groups like PETA remember to believe half of what you see and none of what you hear.

NY has always been a farm state and your insulting alot of good people when you listen to those barking moonbats.

Did you even bother to read my post?

If you did bother to read past the first sentence, you would know that I recommended buying meat from local farmers…the problem that I have is that NOT with the small farmer but with factory farming and agribusiness! Interesting how someone who was raised on a farm would defend corporate farming.

Could you please elaborate on how I insulted anyone? Here is what I said in my original post:

And I love how you’re resorting to ad-hominem attacks now, that really shows the weakness of your position if you have to resort to name calling just to supplement your argument.
