Hi there
I'm looking for an estimated commute time during rush hour and outside of rush hour from Lincoln to San Jose Airport. When would be the best time to leave and come back? Any commuting options outside of Amtrack? Amtrack shows 4 hours each way.
Thanks in advance.

Although I can't answer your question, I can tell you that the commute to downtown Sacramento from Lincoln is frequently at least an hour during rush hour. Figure another 2 1/2 hours minimum to San Jose Airport, and I think that is pretty conservative.

It is not 4 hours without traffic. With, yes, without, no. I do this trip at least once a month. I would say NO traffic going pretty fast 2 hours. Never go during rush hour, thats for sure. We usually leave 8 or 9pm weekdays and its 2 hours. If you need to be at work in the bay area, I would just say, dont do it! =)
