Looking to move with my family to Sacramento and thought to ask if anyone knows of a good Archery Store which stocks plenty of gear and are helpful.

As well as this, does anyone know where its possible to bowhunt legally.

thanks in advance

I'm sure I'm not too much help, but the BLM land west of here has a lot of area for hunting. Beautiful country. The hunters I've met were hunting turkey with rifles. Here's a start: Hunting, Ukiah Field Office, Bureau of Land Management California

Aren't you lucky hunting is big in the Valley. Post up here and you'll get a lot of feedback. Lots of hunting equipment store in the greater Sacramento area. Visit the California DFG site for specific regs on Bowhunting. DFG has a couple of offices in Sac town you can walk into for info as well.

I am not a Bow hunter but rifle hunt every year. Lots of National Forest land and BLM land to hunt on right outside of Sacramento.

When you get here if you have any more questions post up.
