Was blazing this weekend and unfortunately had to add tons of chemicals to pool to balance it so no swim. My luck figures today is cooler oh well nice time to walk outside and use home gym.

Wow, that's still 25 days above 90f, more than I expected this year being cooler

Low 90's in Sacramento is a piece of cake.

Low 90's in Sacramento feels like upper 70's, low 80's back East and in the midwest. And feels like mid 70's in the South.

Also, those 90's are accompanied by upper 50's, low 60's in the morning and night, something you don't get in southern states at all, or many places in the east and midwest.

Sacramento is cooler in the morning than just about every place else in the USA (90% of places).

From what I recall, June was pretty perfect in sacramento, wasn't it? Down here, we never even saw the sun. We had 85% overcast, making us the cloudiest city in the entire country. I hate even thinking back on it! Haha

Interesting, those are the kind of situations no one ever talks about. Which leads me to why the Cali coast and Sacramento are different. Granted, we are all in one state and our climate similarities far outweigh our differences, but the subtle differences that coastal folks overemphasize plays out in our weather/climate. Again our climates are far more similar than not in comparison to the rest of the country but again why does Sacramento seem so different than the coast:

I'll use Texas and Florida as examples:

You can drive literally hundreds of miles within both states and have basically the same weather going from one metro to the other.

In Texas, for example, you can drive from San Antonia to Dallas or Austin to Houston and the overall feel, climate and weather are the same.

In Florida, you can drive from Tampa (west coast/gulf) to Orlando(middle-inland) to the East Coast-Daytona Beach and the overall feel , climate and weather are the same. Similarly, if you drove hundreds of miles from Miami all the way up to Central Florida or the Panhandle, all the same, certainly not like California differences.

The similar if not identical climates of the different metros within Texas bind, unite the metros within their state instead of separating the metros. Same applies with Florida metros, there is a unification of the metros instead of a separation.

Of the 9 days in Sacramento 3 days had a heat index of under 100F, none were over 103F (heat index).
No days were above 110F, and none of the days were near 115F

In the meantime, not a single 100F degree day to date in August, and most of the highs temps are in the 80's.
