There are several forums on the web dedicated just to that very subject. Sactown Royalty, Real GM, KingsFans off the top of my head.

But I don't see why you couldn't start one here if you wanted to. Might not get much action.

Kings President, Chris Granger posting some pics on his Twitter page, from the Arena site today.

The arena floor will sit just above the rebar in foreground. That is L street above us.

2000+ concrete trucks in the next few weeks.

Great photos, I've envisioned this moment for at least 8 years now, thinking back at all the adversity, lawsuits, 100 or so city council meetings, and at least half a dozen failed proposals, and here we are!

A lot of out of towners are excited about this too. I was chatting with a group of 15 year old enthusiasts boys from the bay area at the arena site, and I was thinking it has taken more than half their lifetimes to get to this point. A few of the boys were from Sacramento and they didn't believe it was really going to be an Arena, the Bay Area kids were telling them "yes, dude thats going to be the Kings Arena", the Sac boys didn't believe it until they saw the signage.

The whole downtown area feels so much different already without that old dilapidated mall sitting in the middle of it. The fact that a nice shiny new building will be there improves it just by the fact that it will be there. There are so many cool little restaurants, even a coffee shop or two around that area that I never new existed. It's going to feel like a real downtown now. A real core that actually gives people a reason to come down and stay. As it's been, most people want to get the hell out of it as soon as they can.

Does anyone know if they're going to take that ridiculous downtown plaza sign down (the one overhanging the road next to the arena site)? There's something about that sign that really bugs me.
