"1:18 p.m. SF gives dates for when restaurants, gyms, bars, schools will be allowed to open: Mayor London Breed has announced a timeline for San Francisco’s reopening, setting specific dates for when many businesses and activities can resume. On July 13, indoor dining with modifications can begin, and hair salons and barbershops can reopen. Planned for mid-August is the reopening of gyms, playgrounds, swimming pools, and indoor museums. See the full schedule of San Francisco’s phased reopening."

Are hair salons opening yet? I keep checking mine every day (Great Clips) and they're still showing as all of them closed, but I'd think they'd need to convert from walk-in to appointment or something, so maybe that's taking more time.

I need a haircut soooooo bad.

I'm not sure how many are open right now but they all have the OK to open if they comply with the rules. Yelp! has some listed that have reopened, both barber shops and hair salons https://www.yelp.com/search?find_des...rmichael%2C+CA

Great Cuts may need a bit of time to get prepared to open , given the guidelines they would need to adhere to. See what happens next week

I got tired of waiting, bought clippers and cut own hair. Cheaper, no wait, no drive required.

And I bet it wasn't that hard either, was it?

@2sleepy, nope took a few practice tries and now 5 minutes to cut it. Same for eating out, I mastered a bunch of my favorite Asian recipes and costs me less too. What I used to spend on a bowl of pho at a local Viet place, lets me make several meals.

Thanks, I made a Vietnamese lemon grass shrimp noodle salad bowl today and it came out like the restaurants. Very tasty, simple and healthy to make. I use lemon grass in lime juice and soy sauce for the marinate and grill the shrimp. I love it because you make an herb and fresh veggie platter so fresh and healthy. Add some crushed roasted peanuts and hoisin sauce with the nuoc cham dipping sauce and heaven.
