I have a Tivo Series 3 HD that is Cable Card compatable. I currently have Comcast in Salt Lake City but there is no 2 way communication with them. So there is no Pay Per View or On Demand programming. Does anyone have this setup with Verizon FiOS? How are their HD / on demand options? I am looking to relocate to Midtown, is FiOS available just about anywhere in the city? What about internet speeds?

I think AT&T U-Verse and Surewest are the bigger FIOS providers in the area. It is available in certain parts of town and is expanding. You can go to AT&T, Surewests or Verizons website and punch in your address and it will tell you if it is available. Comcast is your absolute worst choice for TV and internet and I would only use them as a last resort. Comcast gives you the least amount of channels for the most amount of money and there DVR sucks big time. I would get Dish Network with the 300 hour DVR or FIOS.
