My in-laws have moved to SA and my children and I will visit them often. I'm looking for indoor things to do with the kids. My oldest is 5.

Are there any indoor malls in SA (preferably in North SA) that have play areas for children and/or a bounce house business? For example, if you are familliar with any of these: Lakeline mall in Austin has a small play area for children and has a bounce house business. Memorial City Mall in Houston has a huge play area.

Any other indoor activities other than the children's museum?

Also, do the crowds really die down at Fiesta TX and Sea world on the weekends after August 23rd?

The La Cantera play area is sooo tiny and dismal for such a large and expensive mall. It's almost an embarrassment and really is only for toddlers. Children over 3 or 4 will not find much to do, and the babies don't need older kids running around them knocking them down etc.

I started reading this thread and didn't realize I was the original poster until I finished reading the entire thing!

Northstar Mall now has a small indoor play area but its really just for toddlers.

I have to say that Memorial City Mall in Houston is the best mall I have been to for toddlers and young children.

I have never been to the rolling oaks mall. Some people mentioned somewhere else that the inflatable wonderland has got lots of people smoking outside of it. Is that true? Is it free to go in? Looking for more cheap and free things to do for my kiddo. Thanks.
