78231 is good too. Here are some neighborhoods around that area Hunters Creek, Oak Meadow, Summerfield, Churchill Estates, Warwick Farms, Inverness, etc. Lots of neighborhoods off Huebner, Bitters, and Blanco.

OP, forget the real estate professionals and look for yourself:

real estate - Google Maps
ItsTheTruth, go back and read the request from OP. She was not asking specifically from residents. Her last sentence says it all. Furthermore, I was not soliciting business. I was merely trying to point her in the right direction. And, I'm new to the rules of this site. ItsTheTruth, the information that I was giving OP was valid. A realtor professional makes it her/his business to know the areas, and yes, whether the community has children. If the real estate professional can provide the service to find the right property based on OPs needs, why not use this professional? The fee for the Buyer's agent that OP would use is going to be paid by the Seller. So, what's your beef?

You're not soliciting? Really? And that's why you have profiled your full name, occupation, MLS number, etc.? Have you ever posted in a non-real estate thread? Thought not.

The OP NEVER asked for a realtor.

O.k. We are going to start driving around and see what areas we like. I really appreciate all of the suggestions. This forum is great, because you get people's personal opinions which vary.
