That does make a lot of sense . I don't think they "pack-em" in due to the quaity of their meat , the meat we bought was crappy. I have only been in one which is on Potranco. Once and never again.

...for a change. There, finished it for ya. I didn't want to make it a thread for fear of bashing a business....sometimes you can bash and other times you can't so I'm never sure.

Sapph and Paka...I'm glad you posted this. This is so incredibly dangerous. I also thought the article was too soft and didn't explain enough. So are they going to shut down this business, fine him, arrest him? They basically said "you need a license to sell pharmaceuticals in the US. UM..how about FDA approved pharmaceuticals??? I seriously doubt that a pharmacy or drug store can sell just any old thing that comes across the border. DUh!

That last note was out of junior high journalism. "And always remember, if you buy these drugs, and are caught, you could get in trouble." UMMMMM! Trouble? really? what? like a parking ticket? time out? sent to the corner?

They basically asked a doctor who was "surprised" and then tossed the drugs in a biohazard receptical. Why wasn't the FDA interviewed? This story showed no consequences for what they are doing. I would bet that anyone getting drugs like this will continue right on doing it elsewhere.

They are basically selling illegal drugs under the table. This should not have been a "behind the meat market door" story. This should have been a story about a drug bust. Anyone else caught selling illegal drugs goes to jail. Culebra Meat Markets gets embarrassed on the TV news. Makes one wonder if that's really beef, pork and chicken they are selling.

Excellent point. Not to mention where they got that beef, pork and chicken!

I thought this was going to be a story about selling head meat, face meat and other illegal innards!

I'll admit that my husband and I were desperate enough to get pregnant a few years back that we considered buying illegally from Mexico but we both chickened out for obvious reasons (not to mention the thought of either injecting myself or him injecting me. Yikes!).

Isn't that what "barbacoa" is made from? Every taco place in town would be implicated.

Only if their waitresses are scantily clad and serving more than the lunch special. Then and only then do they draw the attention of WOAI.
