i go by that place all the time and have never tried it. how's the food there? what would you recommend?

The food is pretty good! Having been to a whole bunch of "fests" in Germany, it is probably one of the closest things I've experienced to one here in the States. It's not huge, but in addition to the great food, the beer is also wonderful (and my lovely wife will drive so I can "enjoy" it as much as I like! ), the music traditional omm-pa-pa and honestly, if you can't have an outstanding time at this event, you may be dead!

I'd recommend a beer and a Brat. That's light enough to allow you to jump up and join in on the Schuhplattler!

Just a reminder that the Oktoberfest celebrations at the Beethoven Maennerchor begin this weekend!
