I live in Florida and Im trying to find CDL work in the oil field but the only problem Im having is finding a company that has temp housing or sleeper work. I cant afford to come there and look for a job or pay for housing ( or atleast untill I started making money). We plan on moving back around the SA area or if I could find work around the Colorado area. I have a clean record but I dont know if Im looking in the wrong places or what, any advice would be great.

Go to Indeed.com and do a search for CDL oil field. There are a lot of jobs out there. Not sure about sleeping quarters but considering they are screaming for people, they would probably put you up til the first paycheck. Since you're not from around here, you need to know that if you're running within 50 miles of the Mexican border, it's not necessarily safe. People disappear down every day. My sister has lost 2 friends down there that have never been heard from again leaving their businesses, family, etc behind. Eye's wide open and you should be fine.

Chesapeake Energy recently opened an office here in S.A. and are looking for people. Go to their website, find the S.A. office and give them a call.
Also try Halliburton; they as well are looking for people to work in S. Texas.
