Looking for a place that will grill the food in front of us with a bit of a show. We currently have reservations for Kobe for a birthday dinner, but when we googled it, it didn't look very nice. Anyone have any ideas/ suggestions? Saw recommendations for Osaka near 1604/Bandera, but not sure if they grill at the table.

Kobe @ 410 and Blanco is good, I've enjoyed their creations and environment even though I am not a huge fan of Japanese food. Gfriend likes it (and she is picky) so we keep going back.

I've not used Restaurant.com before. If I purchase the special tonight, can I use it tomorrow night? (I assume they would send me a certificate or something via e-mail for me to print.)

Yes. When you buy a certificate, it is issued and ready to print right after you pay on the web site. You can use a restaurant.com certificate right after you print it and up to a year after it is issued.

The only exception to the 1-year expiration is when a restaurant decides to stop accepting the certificates, and in my experience that doesn't happen often.

Yes, there are sometimes restrictions on time/day, or what you need to order.

Thank you for your recommendations. We went to Kobe using the restaurant.com certificate and enjoyed our time. The reviews online were mixed, but we didn't have any problems. I checked the details about the certificate prior to checking out and was glad I did. The kids had a great time (although they weren't too sure of the shrimp.)
