I can't seem to find anything at all on this site or the net speaking objectively about this community.

Can anyone elighten me as to why it's not talked about much? If it's obvious, please forgive me; I'm new to SA. However, the division is in close proximity to both I-10 and 1604. However, there is a lower-income apartment complex down the street, and UTSA is not too far away, which may be either good or bad.

I appreciate your help. I've looked at Bridgewood, Fox Grove, and a lot of areas in the NW aside from KB, but I'd like to stay in the 140-165k range for our first home.

By the way, for everyone purchasing homes, Bombay is going out of business, and has some nice decorations that are probably going to be extremely affordable this week and next.

Belle Sera on Babcock? I think thats the one. There is a new elem school next door that opens next year I think. I just moved from the area and its got lots of traffic on De Zavala esp in the mornings! The Oxford subdivsion is across the street and there are apts in the area. nothing bad though. Townhomes are just really starting to come on to the SA seen and for the same amount of money people figure why not get a house?

You're right, it's Babcock. I've been doing some more research online since I'm working overtime to prep for a home purchase; however, online research is limited.

Case in point: I just drove through Bella Sera, and it had the worst exterior design I've seen yet. All the homes look the same.

Thanks for your help.

I live in the "lower income complex" and have never had a problem. Its mostly college kids as i am (there are always ways around the full time student rule). The only thing you need to worry about is the neighbor hood across the street. Babcock North.

Oxbow is sort of touch-and-go as well. That subdivision tanked really quickly after it was first built, then sort of rejuvenated in the last couple of years, but for how long is anyone's guess. And I agree about Babcock North.
