Starbucks go near each other all the time.

There are two right across the street from one another on the southside.

Quarry Village will have a Starbucks and its right across the street from Quarry Market which has a Starbucks.

I could be wrong but I think that development isn't at Military Drive West and 1604, but rather it says NW Military Hwy at 1604...just north of Shavano Park and east of I-10.

Also, it's been posted on here numerous times that an Academy store is being builit at Potranco and 1604 so why would there be another one almost across the highway with yet another Starbucks? I know they like to be close to one another but I thought they would at least let the first one open before they started the second. I also don't think there'd be two Taco Cabana's across the highway from each other either since one is going in closer to Potranco in that development with Starbucks.

I have to agree, I thought the TC’s was going to be closer to Potranco. I was driving home last night and noticed there is already graffiti on the new sign near Bill Miller’s!!! That really bites.

Yep! We noticed some new graffiti the other day, on some fences at the entrance to Oak Creek on Rousseau at Potranco. My other half came home and told the boys that if they *ever* participated in that type of activity they'd be scrubbing fences for months. The next day, son comes home from school and says that the same markings where on two of our neighbors retaining walls. Gonna find the little buggers and string them up!!!

Default Graffiti...

I heard on NPR this morning that the City will begin to citate home owners whom don't remove the graffiti. If the homeowner chooses not to cover up such mess, the city will charge for supplies and labor. Some may want to confirm...

I think that was going up for vote today at the city council.
if the graffiti is not removed, the city will remove it and charge the business owners of the property for the cleaning and 150 dollars for administration fees.

At least that's what i heard.

Heh, i saw that the other day. I cut through Oak Creek to get to Military if potranco is backed up. It's sad to see such disrespect.

Default Graffiti

Zactly! And I don't know how much of Oak Creek they tagged, but we're even further north of Military and our neighbors that got hit are a bit north of us. So they traveled. And what they hit on our neighbors' properties where both concrete retaining walls. "Nice!"

And I heard the same thing as you CreekKnoll - fine/charge for removal will be for businesses. Didn't hear anything about residential properties.
