The fries were bland and undercooked...threw them away. Burgers were fresh and tasty though.
My shakes weren't like that. I would say they're better than Whataburger's. I'm not a fan of the icy texture.

Somebody must like those in-out fries but never heard from them

I tried In-N-Out and Whataburger side by side — and it's obvious which one is better

Quote:
On my first bite of the Whataburger, the yellow mustard spread on the bun along with the raw chopped onions and pickles, overpowered any other flavor.

Right off the bat, you can see the fresher ingredients used in the In-N-Out burger — thicker tomato slices, greener lettuce, and its famed "secret sauce."

Overall, the In-N-Out burger wins for its secret sauce, fresher ingredients, and unbeatable price ($3.60, compared to $6.94 at Whataburger).

I have seen your posts all over city-data raving about In-N-Out in the past, enough to know that it is obvious which one YOU personally feel is better.

Arguing about whether Whataburger or In-n-Out is better is a waste of time; it is subjective opinion and depends on each individual's tastes.

I like them both.

Exactly. How I feel. They're both just fast food burgers, both can be liked. I feel like those that don't like in n out were expecting a bigger burger, and those that dislike wb thought it was a flavorless.

Who really cares that much about a fast-food joint? It's just a hamburger.

I've recently had the Superburger at Good Times Charlie and it's a burger I truly enjoyed. Burgers at the fast food chains are just food when you need to eat quickly.

I know both places and I think the article/writers opinion is spot on. While Whataburger can be good they lack the consistency and quality of In-N-Out.
