Why is there yet ANOTHER thread about In N Out?
The battle of In N Out vs. Whataburger vs. ? has been discussed way too much already.

As far as chain burgers go, I like Culver's. I've had some great burgers and fries there.
I drive by there all the time, and I always make it a point to look at all the buildings under construction and I still can't figure out where the In n Out is going. I love In n Out, my husband loves Whataburger so now that one will be close by, we'll have something to argue about every couple of weeks.

Culver's is the most under-rated burger chain in San Antonio. I will take Culvers over In-and-Out or Whataburger any day. I wish they had more locations in SA.

I also wish Culver's would expand. Those butter burgers are awesome besides they really have a menu that has something for everyone

I eat at Culvers regularly. They always seem to be doing good business. During the Lenten season Culvers features northern walleye fish on their menu. It is one of the mildest fish meals I've ever tasted. their frozen custard is great, too!

I couldn't wait for In and Out to open. The hamburgers are okay but their fries are the absolute worst.

But, they have reasonable prices and start their employees off at $11 per hour.

And they only promote within. Never bring in management from outside . Plus, every manager has started at the bottom

Are they building the in and out near the golden chix on 281/TPC? Across from BJs on TPC?
I saw a truck there with in and out on it. Maybe some sort of site survey?
I keep hearing different versions of where the site is...
For the record, I like their burger but don't eat much fast food. Just like the food there and they've got a good company story ....

I was kinda wondering the same thing, because post #1 in this thread is a post I made in another thread. I guess one of the mods worked their magic to create this thread.

FWIW, here's my tiers for San Antonio burger establishments:

Best:
Chris Madrid's

Good:
Chester's, Culver's, Longhorn Cafe, Babe's, Whatburger

Eh:
In-N-Out, Freddy's

Never again:
Five Guys

Haven't tried:
Lord's Kitchen
Fatburger
Smash Burger
