I went to that recruiting office on Main in June of 1967. Spent the night in the old Bluebonnet Hotel on Uncle Sam's dime. Then off to Fort Polk, Fort Knox, Fort Meade and the Washington D.C. riots then topped off with 14 and a half months in Viet Nam. Yeah, I remember that place all too well. Exciting at the time, but now not one of best memories.

Sorry to be six months late with this, but I'm new to this forum. I'm pretty sure I once bought a suit at the San Pedro Robert Hall. It was just north of the San Pedro intersection with Jackson Keller, if I remember correctly, and sat on the east side of San Pedro.

There is a yearly fund raiser show at the University of Incarnate Word in the middle to end of October with the Cygnet's and the UIW synchro teams. I swam from 1971 through 1982 then coached 1986-1987 and 1990 through 2005 and still assist.
By the way Margaret Swan is still alive and lives in the Alamo Heights area, she has some problems with memory, but is still a wonderful person.
We knew Margaret and family well back then when they lived in that historical house off Perrin Beitel. It seemed like it was out in the sticks. Had great times swimming in the covered pool in the winter or hearing ghost stories about happenings in that house. Part of the Perrin family is buried just behind the old house (still standing). It's all developed around there now...sadly, but the old house has a historical marker and isn't in danger of being torn down.

Wonderful family all around!

School bells ringing, children singing:
"It's back to Robert Hall again"
Mother knows for better clothes,
"It's back to Robert Hall again"
