Thank you for the pie options and I will check them out. I've been wanting one for so long, but couldn't find one anywhere. I guess I should've posed the quesion earlier.. only other thing will be getting the "right" pie. I'm looking for something like my mom used to bake and that probably will make it even harder. It has to be sweet, but still get a slight bitter taste and there has to be lots of rhubarb in it. So far I've only found very sweet pies and the strawberries just make it sweeter. The other problem was there was more sauce than rhubarb and the crust has to have the sorta marbalized sugar on it. It won't be easy to find, but hopefully I will find it at one of these places. Thanks again for the input.

and SC, it was my wife that pointed her out, but she went off the hair color and the only option in there for anyone close to 90. I would say she was probably more like 70 or so, but very efficient.

Where is this located? I looked at the blog linked from that website, but couldn't place the windmill "landmark" mentioned there.

Is this on the west side? I haven't seen anything like that built there. Any other info?

I got all excited when I read that, too! But then I realized that Mister meant Northwest Military not "Military". Bummer.

Ah...thanks Jules...I should have known that nothing like that would be in our area. Of course it's in the north central area.

There's a tear in my beer.

It's not that bad a drive on 1604--NW Military is just past 10 (yes, I know there is an exit before NW Military)--but I'm just saying it's really not all that far for fresh, tasty beer. Yum. Beer!

I am not a beer lover, at all, but y'all enjoy!! I like everything about beer, and I can appreciate how emotional people get over their beer, I just can't get past the taste.

True, not a bad drive ~ and looks like it will be quite worth it!!! Just the excitement of it being w/in walking distance if it had been at "Military Drive" instead of Northwest Military ~ ah.................

(And yes, I loves me some beer!!!!)
