The property on Bitters between West Ave and 281 that was formerly Church's Fried Chicken will be El Pollo Loco. http://elpolloloco.com/locations/store/3790

Seems strange with Pollo Tropical, Taco Cabana, Chipotle (coming soon), Habanero Grill and Los Robertos all within .5 miles.

I haven't heard about this. It would be wonderful for HCV if it goes through. The collected sales tax would solve a lot of the infrastructure woes.

The former Church's Chicken property at Bitters & 281, is actually in the City Of San Antonio, according to BCAD.

I'm kind of surprised to hear that, since I'm fairly certain that the houses which used to line Bitters Rd. there were a part of HCV. But then again, I'm not so sure that those houses extended as far as to where the old Church's is located.

Either way, according to the map provided by the developer the project is between Tower and Winding way, the other side of West Ave.

What is going on at the Schlotzsky's on the 1604 access road near the 281/1604 interchange?

Didn't know they closed up out there.

Their website still shows that as an active location.

What exactly was "going on"?

I saw the Schlotzky's delivery car out & about this weekend. Seems normal to me. If there's something wrong with the Schlotzky's at 281/1604, there's another one at 281/Evans. Just in case anyone has a serious craving for Schlotzky's.
