I hit the JITB on Military every now and then for lunch. It sucks on the weekends, when more of the drunk idiots are out and I'm trying to get lunch.

no, he was in bed at that time.. it opens at 6:00 AM each day and the latest the drive-thru is open is 1:00 AM I think. That's only on Friday and Saturday, though. I think it closes at midnight the other nights.

Have any of you ladies tried the new salon at Madison Market for a hair cut? I think I remember that djw went in there for a manicure &/or pedicure, but I'm wondering how they do with hair.

One of my friends went, and she said the first time they were awesome. The second time she had a new girl (whom she thought never cut hair before) and I guess she butchered it. She said the owner came over and started telling her what she was doing wrong and then they tried to correct it. She said the owner is VERY picky and a perfectionist...so she tries to watch her employees to make sure they are doing things right. She said because of this...it took a LONG time for her appointment. This is what I've heard from another person, I've never experienced it myself. Hubby wants me to keep my hair long. Let us know how it is if you try it!

Thanx Moki!! I think I will give it a shot. LOVE Doo or Dye, but just trying to not travel so much.

And yeah, your hair is AMAZING!! I can see why your hubby would want you to keep it long.

what's wrong with long hair? and I would rather have a haircut that takes a long time. Usually they fly through it and it usually shows in the quality, especially with all the little hairs they miss. Do they do guys hair there too? I would love a good haircut. Last good one I got was on the cruise ship last year. Nothing like a good quality haircut while you're looking out giant windows within visual distance of the coast of Alaska

Nothing is wrong with long hair...but my hair is SERIOUSLY long. Like all the way down my back...sometimes it gets a little warm in this Tx. heat! I usually wear it up or back. I was watching Big Love the other day and asked hubby if he wanted me to start wearing my hair like them, because their hair is like REALLY long, down to their feet probably!
