Yeah, mysa is saying the fire is under control but there is extensive damage. I'm heading back over there to read the article and not just the headline! Sad.

Awww, Rick and the wifey-poo were safe in Sweden. WTF??? A trade-related trip to Europe? OK. We're all struggling to fill the tanks, and they're jetting off on a friggin' European vacation.

LOL, yeah, I know... they were there during RENOVATIONS!!! And MY first thought was.... HUH???? You can't find alternative temporary quarters ANYWHERE besides EUROPE????
Any reason they couldn't stay somewhere else in Austin??
Well, anyway....
My concerns were about a beautiful historic building... rick and the mrs are STILL living well, despite 'home' being ablaze, so.....

Sooo...does anyone else think the fact that they are renting a $9900 rental home is ABSURD!?!? Honestly, is that neccessary? Sure, the roads are crap and the economy is suffering, but as long as they are living in a $9000 home...and I do believe it is in suburban Austin. They are just doing business...in Sweden..makes perfect sense. I smell audit somewhere here...
My husband said "well, he IS the gov!" Umm...something is wrong here.

OMG, my dog Roscoe just jumped up in my face. I thought he wanted some lovin' so I started scratching him behind the ears, but he was only here to burp on me. If you've never heard a doggie burp, you are missing out. But to feel a doggie burp, wow, I am a lucky woman.
