Texas is holding onto the #2 spot with a large margin.
They can get to #1 very easy!

Of course, Texas is the #2 most populous State. So it stands to reason, the death count total would also be #2.

Thailand had their own wave at the same time Texas did. At least they can use diffrent treatment methods.

Colorado’s COVID hospitalizations “trend back up in the wrong direction” as new cases stop falling
The number of new infections isn’t rising, state officials say, but has hit a plateau after period of decline
CO is plateauing so I doubt it is safe to go there,,,

You could try WA except their numbers are worse than they have been the entire pandemic and OR too...

Coronavirus San Antonio (merged)

Covid is not going away.

Thailand =254 death /m
Very densely populated metros, high use of public transit, high risk of spread

OR = 944 d/m
WA = 1066 d/m
CO = 1388 d/m

TX= 2350 d/m
Sparse population, wide open space, little mass transit, few densely populated factories... Minimal risk of spread + 'Tops' in medical care )

What I'd like to know is what is the protocol for squeezing the bread for freshness, since Covid? Is it still an acceptable thing to do? I know I'm alot more self-conscious of it these days, but I never got any dirty looks that I could tell, so I'm thinking maybe it's still ok.

Texas has a low population density overall but it's not an even distribution and much of it is in a few urban areas. Texas also has packed sports stadiums, concert venues, festivals, beaches, and busy stores.
