Went today to check on that and YES masks are still required. Big yellow sign at the entry.
Tons of shoppers and everybody was wearing masks too...

Any number of businesses are no longer requiring masks - even the ones that posted the City of SA-required signage saying they do. Most are simply saying to make your own decision.

How’s it feel to [Mod cut] not give a crap about the people working your H-E-B or the nurses and doctors in the hospitals. Bet you’re not vaccinated as well. I suggest you get vaccinated and mask up until such time as you hear there are appointments available with no arms to stick them into.

I done got in the habit of wearing a mask. Along with my hat and sunglasses it makes for a really good disguise. I will probably continue to wear a mask after the pandemic is over with.

I think many, if not most of the stores that require customers to wear a mask are simply doing their due dilligence to protect the health of their employees the best way they possibly can because their employees job requires them to interact with the general public, some of which might be contagious. And I also think the stores require customers to wear a mask as an added precaution to protect their company from lawsuits from customers who might try to blame the store because a customer's parent caught the Covid at their store and died.

I'm glad the stores are requiring this. I'd rather play it safe than be sorry.

I've had the vax and obey all store's signs. But I do wish that masks worked, the 'science' cannot claim that as of yet. Especially ineffective is the 'this is a stick up' loose bandana.

I took a picture today - will post little later.
Not sure, but think that the HEB rules apply to all their stores.
Sprouts also requires wearing masks.

Mask mandates may be on the door but aren't enforced. Spring Branch, Boerne and Midland may have the sign up but the mask is optional.
