AT&T placed a similar vault in our backyard easement several years ago when they built out their fiber service (similar to Google) in the subdivision. There's been a wooden Google Fiber construction sign held down with sandbags at the entrance to our subdivision for the last three years, but they haven't started construction here yet, so we only have AT&T Fiber and Spectrum available, at this point.

Yes, reviews of Google's fiber service in San Antonio have been overwhelmingly positive, from what I've been hearing.

The wooden construction sign I mentioned in the above earlier post is still there, but still no progress on construction, from what I've seen. At least there is the much more widely-available AT&T fiber, if we really wanted it.

Article from a year and a half ago sheds some light on what has been going on with Google Fiber.

I'd be happy if the neighborhood I was in offered more than just Spectrum (who doesn't even have symmetrical internet speeds)

ATT says they're building out fiber soon. That was a year ago. Don't see it happening.

Google doesn't seem to be doing anything new around Pearl/Alamo Heights/Govt Hill
