If anyone here works for the northside school system, I am pleading with you to NEVER do preschool registration like you did today AGAIN!!! Waiting in line with a 3 almost 4 year old child for FOUR hours is NOT ideal! I am seriously being nice about the situation right now because I wanted to go off on someone this morning. By the time we got to the front of the line, again after 4 hours, my son was crying hysterically. No water, no food, no entertainment for the kids is a horrible way to treat the citizens of this city who pay good money to taxes for a great school system! Get it together!!!!!!

I wouldn't count on the district to read it here. Call them and complain. Also, contact your school board representative.

WHOA!!! WAIT!!! You are telling me it's not guaranteed that he will get in!?!? They told me everything was fine! If he doesn't get into the school that is litterally right at the end of our block, I'm yanking him and putting him in private preschool. That's the main reason we were there EARLY this morning and I am putting him in that school, because we can walk there! You're right, it was SO disorganized. I must have seen about 6-8 people from the school district standing around at any given time while we were there! GRRRR!!!!

I was actually at the admin office today filling out new hire paperwork. There were people there complaining and talking about how crowded it was. I am sure they will not do that again. I would complain though as a parent!

Oh you are kidding me? Ok, I'm now convinced that the school district has no clue what is going on. Today they were trying to tell me that my son was going to go to Ott for preschool. I had to argue with that, because he is going to the new school being built down the street. Now I find out that Ott doesn't even have it??? What on earth??? I know for a fact our school does have preschool, but I so hope my son gets in. I might have to call tomorrow and find out what the deal is???
