Call me vain, but I am REALLY disappointed in my drivers license photo. Its just horrible...beyond horrible. I would put up with an "off" picture, but cannot tolerate showing this picture for the next 6 years. And, the signature on it is very broken up with sections of the letters missing. You can't even tell what letter my last name starts with.

So, does anyone know if its possible to have my picture retaken and redo my signature, for no charge? But honestly, I would pay for a replacement, if they will let me redo everything.

TIA for your help.

If it just happened...call them up and tell them that you thought it was the old one and you cut it in half by mistake!

The replacement will just be the same exact picture if you do that.

If you request it by mail, it'll be the same pic, but, you can go in and tell them you lost it and they'll retake the pic. My daughter lost her ID and they retook her pic.

Oh, I just can't imagine going back in there voluntarily.

Just use your debit card with a pin, and don't speed--you won't ever need to whip it out.

I can't remember the last time I showed my DL to anyone--except in Helotes the other day when I got a warning ticket. Mine is from me in my 30's since I renewed online--surprised he didn't say "Hey, this ain't you!"

I have to show mine almost every time I use my bank card! I loathe my picture, but I'm not at all photogenic, so.... :P

I renewed my license online a few months ago because I actually liked my old picture and I didn't want to have to go into the DPS office.

My new license came back with the picture so dark and too red in tone. It looks like I had just had a chemical peel. It's so awful that store cashiers have even made comments about it.

You'd think better quality photos could be produced in this day and age. The pictures on our Six Flags passes are terrible too.

This thread is useless without a photo.
