Yea, that is nasty. I left at 3:00am this morning to the Dallas area because I had to sign some papers at 8:30am...barely made it...the rain was soothing, but I saw many many accidents along the way. One in particular...a military Humvee split and crushed like a pancake after a semi-truck hit it near Waco. Although this was not the armored version that you see in Iraq, I understand they still are armored with Kevlar, etc. Anyways, that Humvee did not look good...it backed up traffic for miles. I couldn't help but think of our troops over in Iraq/Afghanistan getting blown to bits by IEDs.

Default great city

Good morning....it is morning now.

I just wanted to say I enjoy your lovely city. My son and wife live close to San Antonio (Kerrville) and love it. They moved from Houston. I enjoy visiting every chance I get. You should be proud of your city.

I will be spending more time over here in the San Antonio threads and I am happy to be part of it.

Welcome to the crew! I spent many summers and holidays in Kerrville growing up. It was so different then....much more small town. We loved to walk to the hospital and the big thing was to go up and look at the newborns.
Also went to Kriders on the river a lot, spent time at the ranch, BBQed and swam in the river. Really a whole lot of nothing with fantastic memories. Isn't it great that memories can be made without much of anything but good company? I'd love to know what all is going in in Kerrville now. The few times I've been there it still seems charming but enough growth to offer so much for visitors. The downtown area is so pretty now. My favorite part is that back road drive to Bandera. GREAT scenery. Maybe we'll plan a meet and greet soon!

it is only morning for those that choose to sleep when it's dark out

I consider this my evening time and I just ate dinner.

On the way to work this morning, on the radio, I heard that the NW side of SA will soon have a population the size of Corpus

They mentioned that and said that they are doing a study on 1604 regarding traffic situations in the area.

Yes, and why does everyone pick on Stone Oak when those that live in the NW are going to be suffering the same fate in the coming years?

True! It's gonna suck. I don't live there but I have to pass thru on my way to work. It's already a nightmare
