Nice to know that bystanders were sticking up for the woman involved and that in the end the idiot got what he deserved:

I've been tossing around a solution to a recent problem that sort of "indirectly" involved our Family.

Last week a friend of my Son's dropped by. When he arrived he parked in the street and rolled his windows down. I don't know why he didn't come in right away . He called my Son on his cell phone several times to let him know that he was here but my Son did not answer since he was in the shower. While he waited the neighbor across the street was yelling at both his Wife and two Workers. The neighbor was obviously upset and he was very loud to say the least. (My Wife said she heard him from inside the house).

Well like any person would have done the kid looked over to see what was going on and the guy (which trust me is an A #1 *******) saw him looking and yelled "What the **** are you looking at?"

Before I go any further I need to say that I have known this young man since he was in preK at St John Bosco. He was raised right and the ******* caught him offguard and he did not respond in any way. He did tell my Son who told both his Mom and I. It pissed me off and it still does. Any guest of my Son's is a guest of this house. This could have very easily been My Mother, Sister InLaw, or any other Relative or Friend that came to visit. I just wish I was out there when it was said or better yet I wish that I was the one that was seen looking his way.

A BIG part of me wants to confront the ******* and my Wife has asked me not too. They have not been the best of neighbors over the past 10 years and she doesn't want a potential problem.

Last night I was washing my pickup and the ******* came out and hopped in his car. We both made eye contact and it took everything I had not to confront him. He usually says Hello but that was not the case . Maybe he knows that I know what he did and will avoid me for a while.

Well Yes or No ? Do I put this guy in his place by letting him know that you don't talk to people in a disrespectful way or do the correct thing and respect my Wife's request? I know this is a no brainer but his actions pissed me off.

guy sounds unstable.. confronting may not be a good idea. Though I know what you mean, I would be the same way wanting to confront him. Nothing you can say will change a person like that however. I'm just glad for the kids sake that he didn't do anything other than say something.

I agree with the above, it sounds like nothing good could come from a confrontation like that.
