Had a rough week...besides the lovely storm blowing up my computer monitor and surge protector...we had a leak in our rental house last weekend (Sat).

I have a GREAT electrician we use, but totally at a loss for a good plumber....AND there was carpet pad that needed to be pulled and replaced and the work getting the walls patched, textured and painted after the repairs were made...man, did WE luck out!!!

Found Y's Guys who did ALL the work, and did it quickly (responded immediately to a Sat afternoon call), gave us an estimate and the invoice was EXACTLY what they had estimated, and did a wonderful job. Doug Young owns the company (found them on Angies List) and all I can say is his prices were so fair that the insurance company paid the bill immediately without any questions at all. I was MOST impressed that he seems to have a GREAT team that can take care of almost anything at all, so all around handyman with very quick response and great quality work. They worked with us,and with our renters schedule to keep us both very happy.

We will be keeping his number for sure...I would post it here, but don't know if it would violate the rules of the board (and don't want to do ANYTHING that could cause problems with this board...I AM TOTALLY ADDICTED!!!) so IF you need the number, check out Angies List or PM me and I will be happy to share it. I am thrilled to find someone who is honest, responsive and does good work very quickly.

Know lots of members here have been asking about good home type of folks, so figure in this day and age it is important for us to share valid info for those in need.
