I was there opening night for Mama Mia and enjoyed it. And yes we have Lion King tickets for opening night! So excited!

Saw Mamma Mia! today at the Majestic Theatre and loved it!

saw it last sat, it was alright... i wouldn't say terrible, but it was alright...
i agree the performers were just ok too, i wasn't blown away vocally and performance wise...
this is coming from somebody who is not usually critical and is easily pleased...

So glad to hear this!!! When the stage retracted @ LC to reveal the orchestra for the overture I teared up. It is an incredibly moving show. I have seen the movie dozens of times but the stage production brought my understanding of the themes of the show. Can't wait for March!

My kids and I saw Lion King in NY and we just loved it. When it came to San Antonio I bought tickets for a "family night". My husband wasn't in much of a hurry to get to the theater until I told him that we absolutely cannot be late and also how much the tickets cost. Much to HIS surprise he really enjoyed it. I may just go see it again.
