BTW, we've switched radar sites to stream once again. As the storms move away from Del Rio, they are now well in sight in New Braunfels.

Got a call from a storm spotter of a 3-second gust to 48 mph in Castroville.

it's now just rain here. exactly what I ordered, thanks

and I'm glad I was wrong about not getting anything. Doesn't look like it will be a huge amount, but it's better than nothing.

Yes we certainly dodged a bullet again with this round of storms. If the timing had been different by a few hours later...we'd certainly deal with severe weather.

But we're getting a good solid soaking now

and from the looks of it, we got another rainstorm in the future.

Checked the models finally and it looks like we may be dealing with some late week rain chances around Thursday and Friday.

There's also more rain in the forecast possibly for Fiesta week. (watch me not get repped for this post! )

It wasn't enough. Only light to moderate sprinkles where I live!
