All Ontario city residents are receiving their water, sewer and trash bills sporting a whole new look. It no longer identifies itself as the City of Ontario, but instead as Municipal Utilities Company. Additionally, for some unknown reason, the beautiful red and gold "sunrise over a mountain" official city logo has been replaced with a newly designed one color logo that looks like President Obama's official campaign logo on fire. What was Mayor Paul S. Leon thinking when he approved this? Regardless of what you may think of the President, it is inappropriate to subject Ontario city residents to offensive imagery on their water bills. Contact Mayor Paul S. Leon at (909) 395-2000 and Utilities General Manager Mohamed El-Amamy (909) 395-2605 and urge them to return to using the official city logo on their water bills. And permanently retire the logo that looks like the Obama logo on fire

I don't really understand what is offensive about the logo, but then, I'm one of those chicks who thinks Flava Flav is a hottie.

I kinda like the" Big O ", if the colors were kept in gold, and orange, i thought. But as far as making it happen, you need to do the footwork,You need petition your request, something like 1500 signatures, and then take that to public meetings/ city hall. Or you could always go paperless and just pay ur bills on line.

You crack me up LIAM! There's nothing offensive or polarizing about the new logo - it's about as standard and generic as they come. The old logo is a little dated, and the new one is more modern, but neither is particularly noteworthy. And that's fine, for a logo!
