I was thinking about hiring this company to unload our moving trailer in Chula Vista and transport our stuff to Rancho Bernardo and unload there. Anyone ever use this company and have any comments. Also, I see their information on the website by Uhaul but can not locate a phone #. Does anyone have that information too?

Thanks so much!!
Getting excited to move to San Diego the week after Christmas!!

Why can't your trailer be unloaded in Rancho Bernardo? It doesn't make sense to unload it in Chula Vista, then transport everything to Rancho Bernardo. If ABF is moving your things, they should deliver it to your door. They don't have any reviews at all on Yelp.com!

Default Condo

They don't have anywhere to drop the trailer. We are moving into a condo and there is no parking or area for a trailer. Trust me..Already tried that!!

So how do people move into the condos that have their belongings moved by professional movers? They should be able to double park, all professional movers have experience with small/no areas to unload. They can't prevent you from unloading the trailer, you have to be able to get your things into the condo.

At my complex, we often find moving vans blocking part of our parking lot for the better part of a day. As long as they make sure to leave everyone at least one way out, there should be no problem with their unloading at your complex. Is the parking at your complex tighter than that? If so, are you close enough to a city street that the mover can simply park there?

I guess I need to contact the HOA again and see if we can park the trailer somewhere there. Trust me...transporting everything from the ABF terminal in Chula Vista to the condo is ridiculous!!! We are moving to the Playmor in Rancho Bernardo. If anyone has any suggestions for this community PLEASE let me know. It will be a 28ft semi trailer there for 24 hours only!!
Thanks!!!

Why would it take 24 hours to unload a 28 ft semi trailer? Am I being optimistic to think it should be more like 6 hours max? If 24 hours is what these 'humble movers' are telling you, you might want to look somewhere else for someone to unload your trailer.
