I saw this video on another forum today and it made me laugh because there are lots like this guy in the video that have the same attitude about San Diego. Classic. "I need to cleanse my soul and start all over and have no job" "I want to move to great weather and sick of the cold" "We went to Disney for vacation and dreaming of it ever since" "no savings, no family support, no job skills" "i'm not worried" "we want to live near the beach...we are beach people"

Just replace San Diego for Florida and we see posts like that all the time on this forum.

^^^ Those xtranormal movies are fun and easy to make. I've done two for free. They charge (not much) for extra props, etc.

Ah really? I didn't realize they are that easy to make. Man, someone needs to make one of those for San Diego with all the things we read about on these San Diego forum boards.

If we can all collaborate on a script then I might be able to get something going, or help someone else.

That thread that hitman started on unrealistic expectations of moving to San Diego is full of good material.

I totally agree with this. It sounds just like all of these people wanting to move here with nothing.

Yeah! I agree with this. Man, we have tons of FREE material to take directly from all these hundreds of posts on people that want to move here.

We could even have a line like, "But I read on Citydata.com of hundreds of people that have no job, no friends or family, no experience, no savings, no college degree and THEY are moving to San Diego. If they can do it then I can do it too. They also went to Seaworld and Legoland for vacation and saw Shamu. They also want to live by the beach and go swimming every day."

LOL. It would be soooo funny! People should post some of their favorites on this thread.

If someone has nothing somewhere, they have a lot less to lose than someone who has everything some place else.

In other words, why not try San Diego out if they have nothing to lose? That's why there is so many homeless I think. Might as well make life easier...its better than being homeless in Michigan.

Not as many as Honolulu. I've never seen so many homeless in a city ... and I'm from NYC originally!

There are colonies of homeless in certain parts. Surprisingly, they aren't the violent types, though.
