bradley,

You thinking of moving along the coast? Thought you were all about LA in another post, because you were over it here in SD.

No I love the coast of SD but I am really tired of the other aspects of San Diego (aka lack of entertainment, culture, suburbia, politics). I have been here since I was born. I want to try LA for a while.

LA

What's "laid back" about LA? Any of it?

well I like the entertainment and culture aspects of LA.

I think that depends on the person. But as an artist (musician) I know that being open minded helps you to obtain more sources of inspiration, more sides of a same story, and more experience/culture.

I don't know about the North County beach cities mentioned.. I always thought Ocean Beach was the most laid back.

Ocean Beach is laid-back, in a burnt out dirty hippy way, it wouldnt that bad of a spot if it wasnt a homeless people and druggie magnet.

If you get up the hill, it's not burnt out. Anyway the dirty aspect keeps it from being like so many other antiseptic beach communities in southern california.

I vote OB, dirty hippies and all. I've lived at the bottom of the hill and loved it.
