I know. When I lived in the EV, I was on the computer, and the Weatherbug temperature climbed to 101 in front of me.

Right now, they're predicting 95, but it'll probably be more like 105.

84 on my weather station in PQ. So Poway/Sabre Springs is probably up to 94 by now.

This heat just won't go away! Though I was up in the SFV today - my car said 107. I was definitely happy to be back in San Diego. But I see that San Diego is supposed to be hot all through this week too. This is my fourth year in San Diego and I cannot remember any prior year coming close to the intensity, frequency, and duration of the heat we've had this year. Maybe some long-term SD residents can answer this question - has this been an average Aug/Sep/Oct? Maybe I've just lucked out the past few years. And yes - I know that's what the OP asked but since the thread was started it has stayed pretty hot so I guess I'm just looking for updated opinions.

I've been here since the late '80s. August/September often get pretty hot, with some days near or over 100. But I don't remember it ever being this hot and humid at the same time.

I know it's still early, but I wonder if this heatwave will live up to its hype?

I noticed yesterday that even though it was warmer than usual in the AM downtown, it really started cranking in the afternoon hours between 2-5pm

Weather Underground says 92104 is 90.4, but it feels hotter, 93.0 in 92105, and that's just the next block.
