Hi all,
We are having a party in our backyard in September, probably around 50 people. We originally thought about having a potluck and I would tend the BBQ but now I'm thinking that would not allow me to enjoy the party. I would love to hire someone that has a portable BBQ and they cook on site. Any recommendations?

Thanks all but Phil's and Coop's both have 75 minimum for onsite catering or delivery. I really don't want to have to pick it up myself moments before the party! But I am going to contact these places anyway to see what my options are.

I also found online:
Brazen's
Rotisserie Affair
Grand Ole BBQ
BBQ2U

I am still looking!

Keep in mind, good Bbq takes time and patiences.
I herd of Bbq2U but have not tried their food. It sounds like you want full service Bbq catering, right?
You're not going to find to many certified catering companies here in San Diego with their own travel smoker.

Hitman619 is right, you're not going to find a catering company with their own travel smoker. In fact, I'm sure the BBQ places are the only ones with smokers, and they're pretty big. You could also try Crooms in Chula Vista, they're supposed to be very good, too.
