Just a heads-up, AADAD...it's great to not have state income tax, but Washington collects revenue in so many ways, especially in traffic citations. The speeds are generally slower in WA than in CA, especially the rural areas. Speeds go up & down with frequency, & there are many speed traps. I swear, there is a Statie for every 5 people here, & many patrol cars are unmarked & hard to detect. Many counties do not offer the option of traffic school. Washington does not have the points system for infractions on your driving record like CA does. It still doesn't deter the idiot drivers, though. So, happy (careful) driving!

I have to agree. They collect the money in other ways and the liquor tax will sting the first time you pay it.
