What would be the charge if he had a fully automatic rifle? A rifle with a 60 round drum? Etc.

Genuinely curious.

That would be an actual charge for an illegal firearm. If already owned a 60 round drum is completely legal here, as in TODAY. How they can say a semi auto modern hunting rifle, the most purchased firearm today, is illegal is beyond me. You can buy them in every State. I'm "guessing" they needed something and found "something" such as a handgun that was purchased out of State from a relative years ago and given to him and he didn't update DOJ website. Classic fishing.

I think the guy is guilty as hell just like to see some actual real facts to what they are coming up with. 20 million people in the State of CA could be guilty of the exact same charge if they wanted it which is a huge Govt overreach imo.

Police are still looking for a missing .40 caliber Glock, the alleged murder weapon, so i wonder how that is going to play out in court .
Unless they have found a body with a .40 cal wound I don't see how they can trace it to a .40 much the less a glock when there are 50 million 40 smith caliber firearms in the Country. How they can trace a murder weapon to a body they can't find is beyond my grey matter. It's like they solved how the dinosaurs all died.

I don't doubt you at all.

The choking was a prior incident. She confessed to someone about it.

Choking and getting shot with a handgun are quite different avenues, wouldn't you say?

I don't know anything about the media saying the glock was the murder weapon. I was just replying to your comment that insinuated that the cause of death was choking and/or the glock.....which the article wasn't saying. That's all.

I know. I was just pointing out the ridiculousness of some of the media's take on the whole thing.
