I agree. South Park and Morley Field look great! That's what I like about the oldies...so much character...are these neighborhoods bound by HOA?

Hmm, I am rethinking my move to OC. I've never been to SD. Hmm...maybe in a few months when I return to CA again...

What's the tech/engineering sector like down there? I know there's good surfing Which 'burb would two laid-back, surfer/skaters without an ostentatious show of wealth fit in?

Sounds like either Pacific Beach or Mission Beach are right up your alley. The fun and always active boardwalk along the beach should satisfy your skating needs. Ocean Beach is the hippie section that might also be considered.

Shhhhhhhh....I'm letting you in on a La Jolla secret here. Behind the Cave Shop off Prospect St, is a quiet trail known as Coast Walk. Seek it out and you'll be glad you did.....

Default Pictures

Thank you so much for the wonderful pictures. My friend got on City-Data.com and looked at some pictures in Palo Alto and got such a virus his whole computer crashed. I am a bit scared to look at the pictures on here. Do you know anything about a virus on this site? I love this site and come here often because I want to relocate from Seattle to San Diego area. WHY? The weather is ugly here in the winter. I'm getting older and crave room temp most of the year with sunny days. What can you tell me about San Diego and the best areas to live and the worst? We are planning to buy into a 55 and over manufactured home community.
