It's honestly ridiculous! My husband warned me to never discuss weather because people get crazy. He works for a NYC company, so he's on the phone with them all day long. Just wait until you experience your 1st snow-free winter! It's the greatest thing in the world! We moved here form North Jersey in Oct 2008 and for the first year, wore shorts year round. Then, we got accustomed to the weather and are now freezing in anything below 70! Do you know where you're moving to? Where in Jersey are you?
