It would appear that the only "landgrabbers" he has a problem with are "White Americans" who "grabbed land" from Mexico. On the other hand, Spaniards/Mexicans who "grabbed land" from the indigenous peoples of what would become California?

Not a word.

He's just using the "landgrabbers" claim to bash those he dislikes. He couldn't care any less about those whose land was "grabbed" by another other than "White America".

A sustainable population would be one which allows our country to maintain a reasonable quality of life without putting much strain on resources of any kind. If you're asking for an exact figure, you know as well as I do that such a figure can only be figured out based on the resources and quality of life our country would want at a given time period so this number will vary.

Basically, this does mean controlling population growth irrespective of race nationality, IQ or whatever. Third world countries population grow quickly and this is part is what creates such social instability regarding the haves and have nots as it can be difficult for any government to try and keep up.

China's got some great food. Why don't you go enter that country without the benefit of a visa, find a job and then demand full citizenship? March down the main drag with a placard shouting for amnesty.

I'm not complaining. You tend to put words into people's mouths. I'm talking about respect for a nation's laws. That goes for any nation.
Did the US respect Hawaii when it overthrew its monarchy in the 19th century and annexed the islands? Did the US respect many other countries it has occupied and intervened in?

Oh? So now China is your model for immigration policy?

California is one of those states that sends more - quite a bit more - to Washington than it receives in return. 2005 is the most recent year for which I could find a chart, but it is hardly anomalous - California has been one of the supporting states every year since 1986.
http://www.taxfoundation.org/files/ftsbs-timeseries-20071016.swf (broken link)

See, for every $1.00 California sends off to the federal government in the form of taxes, it receives only $0.78 in return. So where is that $0.22 going? Well, it's going to those states which can't afford to pay their equal share. States like Arizona, which must rely on the dollars of states like California being funnelled through Washington and back to Phoenix.

Arizona only gives $1.00 in taxes for every $1.19 it receives in federal largesse.

Basically, some states are welfare cases, dependent on being supported by other states with deeper pockets.

California is one of those supporting states. Arizona is one of those welfare states.
Yep, I believe that amounts to around $8billion dollars that is never returned to California. No wonder we're broke lol

Aren't there rumblings in Utah to do the same?

Apparently, it's this:

See?

Makes perfect sense...
