Caltrain is cutting service to 3 stations, raising fares and parking costs.
Caltrain raising commuter fares, cutting service - San Jose Mercury News (http://www.mercurynews.com/ci_17782822?IADID=Search-www.mercurynews.com-www.mercurynews.com - broken link)

I can't imagine BART will ever close stations outright. This is really unfortunate. Who takes care of abandoned train stations?

True, the first time I walked from my office 1 block from the Montgomery BART to CalTrain I was like WTF? 25min walk??? The design is flawed is anything, but hey if you work near AT&T Park then it's not so bad

Ugh...I wish they had just signed up for BART back in the day like the East Bay & SF. That damned hindsight is a real kicker.

We might have already had BART to San Jose by now....but I digress. All things in their proper time I suppose.
