Thanks everyone, Tampa is looking like the choice I'd say. Thanks for the info ferret111, it helps to hear from someone who isn't all negative about stuff in Tampa but more realistic. Being a speech therapist, it is one of the only school jobs they are still really hiring for in most states and Hillsborough County in FL has been the only one not to balk at the fact that I'm Canadian and that I will need a work visa (even though I went to the University of Vermont!).
