Go to sharks games, there might be a UFL or AFL football team in SJ as well. It is only as bad as you make it to be.

I get the feeling San Jose is nice, but not that great. Def not on the level of San Francisco, for example.

Funny story-I'm in SF now on vacation, had planned to see SJ but I've been told by locals here that there is absolutely no reason to set foot there. Maybe next time....
