Okay, so you exit at Camden and head up Blossom Hill?

That is a weird exit at Almaden with the right lanes into the shopping center, staying left should work fine since I have to U-turn at Blossom Hill anyway. Great advice.

I guess the morning ride won't be too bad most days. How can I complain after commuting the last 12 years? That's to Saratoga from Boulder Creek (yes, I said Boulder Creek) for 45 minutes through all kinds of weather. Kinda hard on the vehicle wear-and-tear. I go through tires like mad.

I've never lived anywhere but up here in the mountains, this is going to be a bit of an adjustment, but maybe I'll like it even better! Thanks for all the tips from you pros.

Wow, you're a mountain girl? That's so cool. But yeah, harsh commute. Welcome to the valley. I think this will be a much easier commute for you.

I live to the south, so I exit on Camden Ave and go all the way to Almaden Expressway, then turn right. However, Blossom Hill Rd is just a short stretch to Almaden so should be no problem at all.

Yes -- total mountain girl, my parents moved me from Berkeley to Boulder Creek when I was two. I'm middle aged now!! Ha ha.

After being exposed to the diversity of the Santa Clara Valley, and losing my condo to a short sale, I'm ready to actually live in a city.

Thanks for the encouragement, I think you're right, I can manage the commute to Almaden. It seems just a tad more open, more "out in the country" than Cupertino, Campbell, etc. I kinda like that.

Nope, that won't work if you're going southbound on Almaden even a little ways. The two left lanes all are left turn only, and the left at Blossom Hill takes an eternity anyway. I suggest to get off at Santa Teresa and go behind the mall - it will be faster.

Yes I like the Foxchase apartments so I'd have to do a quick u-turn at Blossom Hill. Know anyone who has lived there?
