Can anyone recommend a reliable, honest maid/housekeeper available to clean my small two bedroom house in Bradenton every couple of weeks?

Thanks for your assistance.

best thing to do is ask a neighbor. If you notice a cleaning person coming and going speak to them, see if they have availability then talk to the homeowner for a recommendation.

good luck!

I need a maid too. My wife doesn't want to be my maid ANY MORE, she said, when I asked her to bring me beer.

Can't say I blame her there

I'm also still looking for a maid in the North Port area. Can't seem to find a good one. Any suggestions are welcome.

I am also looking for housekeeping help and saw this thread. This message is posted a few years since the first post, however. Like the original poster, I am looking for a honest, reliable and also a flexible housekeeper whose fees are reasonable for the tasks. I am in Bradenton. Any suggestions would be very appreciated. I am using a woman who has a busy cleaning service but am afraid I will not be able to continue to afford her for very long. She is very expensive.

Thanks for any help.

Why not make your own post?

Friends and neighbors is the best way to find local maid referrals IMO. I found ours through a flyer she put out in neighborhood mailboxes. I got estimates from gohousemaids and merrymaids but they were unbelievably overpriced!

I'd be interested in hearing what others are paying.

Ours is $25/hour

$75 - 9am-12noon - biweekly - which is enough to get all the things done we need in our large house - baths & floors are the things we need most.

I just re-married, much easier than finding a new maid.
